10. Citadel

The Citadel is the new Medival-inspired castle that holds many mysteries for the Fortnite community. The citadel hosts Geno, the main character of the season. Not only can you fight him, but he also brings a new weapon into the mix. Ex-Caliber is the brand new weapon added to the game. The gun spits explosive swords onto the enemies and deals immense damage.

9. Geno Chests

‘Geno Chests’ can also be found in the new update and if you are lucky enough, you will find the brand-new Shockwave Hammer. One can trampoline around the map with Shockwave Hammer and a direct hit from this melee is super lethal. The weapon has a 15 seconds cooldown period.

8. Reality Augments

A unique new feature that has shocked the community is the new perks phase. After each storm phase, players can choose between two perks. This system is called Reality Augments and there are 22 abilities under it. The possibilities are endless for the players with these perks. 

7. The return of Scar and Rocket Launcher

One of the most exciting news for the Fortnite community is the comeback of two of their favorite weapons. The scar assault rifle and the rocket launcher. 

6. Slap Juice

Slap Juice is the new featured business in the game. The players can find Slap drinks and Slap berries across the map. Slap juice not just gives you health points but also gives players unlimited stamina for 20 seconds.

5. Sky Jellies

Sky Jellies are new wildlife that players can see in the game. If you walk into these adorable creatures, you will receive a shield and a bounce effect. 

4. Brand New Battlepass

Of course, a new Battle Pass. With Doom Slayer and many other unique skins, the Battle Pass is packed for this season. 

3. Dirt Bikes

Fortnite has brought a new way of navigation. Dirt bikes are now available on the map for players. Players are also given the chance to pull out some instance stunts while riding the dirt bikes. And of course, you can earn points through these stunts.

2. New POI’s and Regions

Nine new areas are up for exploration in Chapter 4. The Citadel, Anvil Square, Breakwater Bay, Shattered Slabs, Frenzy Fields, Faulty Splits, Slappy Shores, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs are the new additions.

1. POI claim and Loot map

Fortnite’s lore is connected to each of these territories. These regions also have different weather conditions. If you land on any of the POIs, a new feature to claim the place appears. Doing so shows the claim banner for you and your party, as well as shows the available chest in that territory.
