That is what Epic Games is trying to do recently, as they are banning gamers from using any kind of external devices to play Fortnite or similar games.

It is well known that many professional players use external adapters or devices to help them in playing the games more competitively and efficiently. But now these devices, including the very popular Cronus emulator, are getting players banned.

What was the Fortnite ban about?

Normally, players use emulators and hardware accelerators to help them play video games even more efficiently. But these devices and hardware give an extra edge to the players, making it harder for other casual gamers to play the games. Thus, Epic Games had decided to ban any such account that is using any third-party hardware to play games.

This hardware includes “Cronus Zen, Cronus Max, and more!” as described by Fortnite insider on their tweet. Notably, this external hardware makes the gamers in control of the game and sometimes even uses scripts to make it easy for pro gamers to help aim and other such tasks.
