X-Men hero Dark Phoenix just arrived on Fortnite, surprising the fans. X-Men and other Marvel characters have been quite popular additions to the game and have become iconic skins that players can boast during gameplay. This announcement came really unexpectedly, as Epic would usually tease about such skins prior to their release. But needless to say, players of the game aren’t complaining.

One notable thing with regard to this skin is that it is a Fortnite version of the skin and not like the MCU versions that mostly arrive in the game.

This unexpected release of new skin by Fortnite has surely excited Marvel fans who play this game. However, this release is very much different from the other Marvel skins that were launched previously. This skin won’t come in an exciting bundle, unlike the previous MCU skins, and the skin will cost players 1,500 V-Bucks.

Along with the skin, players will be getting back bling and a Wrath of Phoenix loading screen. However, the bad news is that the Phoenix Force back bling is not available separately in the item shop and comes along only with the Dark Phoenix skin. Alongside all of these, players can also obtain the Dark Phoenix emote for another 300 V-Bucks.

Besides this skin, another news that was making the rounds in the community is the arrival of the Naruto skin in the game. Fans were particularly waiting for this skin to arrive and Epic finally confirmed the Naruto crossover on Twitter. The skin will be arriving via the game’s next update patch (v18.40) on November 16.

The update will also bring other Naruto characters as cosmetics, and according to leaks, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and others might be making an appearance. Twitter user HYPEX offered a look at these cosmetic items in Fortnite.
