Fortnite Decides To Delay Major Season 3 Updates

Epic Games has just announced an update for its fans. The news is sure to bring about a lot of sad reactions, but the company has made the right choice. Other games and titles had previously announced that their titles will be delayed and now, Fortnite has joined the group.

Fortnite reschedules their plans

The game will be delaying the live event, ‘The Device’, to Monday, June 15, and the season 3 launch is being postponed to Wednesday, June 17. This being the third time season 3 getting delayed it has upset a lot of fans. With the situation at hand, the community needs to be patient and supportive of the developer’s decisions.

The unrest in the US, following the death of George Floyd, has made many companies make huge choices with their releases. Electronic Arts, Sony, and Activision, have all announced that it is not the right time for their releases. The companies are prioritizing the ongoing movement for change in the country.

Epic Games made the announcement via Twitter. They acknowledge that justice is above the politics going on in the country. Fornite also understands the pain people are going through.

Pro Fortnite player ‘SypherPK’ posted his thoughts on Twitter. He says the world is in a pandemic situation while fighting injustice. He says the season will come but now it is time to be patient and understanding.

Fortnite’s call on delaying their updates to support the people is admirable. With Sony postponing the PS5 event while Activision and Electronic Arts putting their new title and updates on hold, the priority is clear.
