Based on all the teasers Epic Games have given us, we have deciphered that there will be some alien influence over the new season of Fortnite. Additionally, Over the past few days, Epic Games has been dropping hints about the new season on its various social media platforms. They all follow the same format and showcase three items in a testing lab describing the one in the middle.

This new post is titled Catalog Entry #476-122 and showcases a robot of some kind. Upon closer inspection, fans will recognize that it is the butter robot from Rick and Morty’s television series. It is an iconic moment on the show when Morty asks Rick for help with a science project. Rick reveals the robot wh0 is told that his only purpose is to pass butter around.

Could Rick and Morty feature in the new Fortnite Season?

While this could just be another Easter egg by Epic, it could also be a more telling clue. The Batman and Fortnite collaboration was teased just before the primal season of the game begun. Similarly, keeping with the alien theme in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, we could see the space traveler, Rick, and his grandson, Morty in the battle royale game.

The collaboration between these two major brands would also make sense in terms of timing as the new Rick and Morty season arrives on June 20th, which is only two weeks into Season 7.

A Facebook post from Fortnite also describes the alien weapon located to the left of the butter robot. It states that the weapon is “highly effective against organic material.” On the other hand, “against structures and mobile metallic transportation units the weapon becomes less effective.”

Based on the description, this is a new weapon that will be added during the Season 7 update. It will deal a good amount of damage to players but not structures and vehicles. Thus, you will probably have to get close to your enemies to fully utilize the weapons’ power.
