The pro player took to Twitter to vent out his frustration with Epic Games and how unfairly he was denied. He posted a video statement on his official handle to address the situation while also expressing his feelings.
” I have been told if I actually play and do qualify, I will get a warning or if I had a previous warning for whatever reason, which I can’t really recall, If I do then it would be further escalated or whatever.”
Guidelines need to updated
The pro player highlighted a key issue with the current guidelines and how they make little sense. He also gave examples regarding what it allows and other things that it prohibits, leading to an inconsistent end result.
“The rule is that the a name used by a team or player might not include or make use of Fortnite, Epic or any other trademark or trade name or logo owned by epic. The name used team or player cannot be an impersonation of another team, players, streamers, celebrities, Government officials, Epic employees, or entity.”
He further added.” Which really doesn’t any sense, because that means you have to ban everyone who’s not in FaZe but has a name FaZe in their name. NRG or any other org, just any org name that’s actually not on the org, that’s an impersonation. Is it not impersonating a brand which is a team.”
