Moreover, this crossover between Fortnite and Dragon Ball coincides with the upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The anime movie is set to release on August 19, 2022. So, this crossover might be a possible marketing strategy to promote the film in the US via one of the most popular games in the country.

What would the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration have?

The rumors suggest that the Dragon Ball collaboration would begin in late August 2022. Further, it would be a seven-week-long challenge. Additionally, the leaker HYPEX revealed that there would be a custom event tab in-game, unlike the Naruto collaboration. So players can check their progress during this limited-time event in the game and not have to visit another site.

The battle-royale game will get access to characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus from the anime series. There would be a fourth female skin, which might be Bulma. The leaker also revealed that Goku and Vegeta would have a emote for their Super Saiyan Transformation. Further, the skins might not be available in the first week.

Further, there would be various categories that will have multiple challenges across the seven weeks. The leaker also shared that the custom tab will feature seven circles representing the Dragon Balls, seven magical balls from this anime series that summon a wish-granting dragon.

The Fortnite Dragon Ball crossover will also feature Punch cards, and one card might require players to collect 20 “Power Levels.” However, these power cards would be encrypted and only available since the second week of this collaboration. Undoubtedly, it would be a lengthy challenge so that Fortnite won’t reveal everything in the first week.
