A new Fortnite season is on its way. While fans have been curious about where Chapter 4 is headed, the upcoming season may have more answers for the inquisitive. The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 will drop on November 3 and devs Epic Games is not holding back on its punches. While each new Fortnite season lasts for about 10 weeks, Season 5 might have a shorter lifespan as Chapter 5 is scheduled to arrive in December.
However, the devs might be working on something interesting behind closed doors. Several streamers have shared pictures of packages they have received from Epic Games over the recent weeks. These packages are coming with hints that something “OG” might be making a comeback with the new Season in Chapter 4.

Over the recent weeks, many streamers received packages from Epic Games. Naturally, these packages piqued their interest and they wanted to know what’s in them. Upon opening the boxes, the streamers first were faced with a video of their old Fortnite gameplay. Each streamer apparently received a unique video clip customized for them individually. While most streamers received clips showing their first match in Fortnite, content creator and 100 Thieves member CouRageJD thought he was being trolled when he saw his clip contained an instance where he gets eliminated from a match after being down. Along with the clip, the streamers also received several Fortnite pins styled after Chapter 1 with one “OG” pin. The packages also contain the theme music from the old lobby.

This vinyl also seems to contain the Season 5 map on its underside. This map looks similar to the Chapter 1 OG map that hosted some incredible moments for the Fortnite players who were there from the beginning.
While Chapter 1 Season 5 looks to return with the new season, expect some added features for Zero Build players. A possible old-school loot pool may also be the highlight of the upcoming, and possibly last, season of Chapter 4.

To keep parity with the fallback to the old-school Fornite features, modern movements in the game would also be removed in Season 5. So expect no sprinting, sliding, or mantling. For those of you who fell in love with Fortnite in the early days, the new season would be a welcome change from the recent updates.
However, the map isn’t going to remain the same throughout Season 5. The streamers and industry experts believe that the entire Chapter 1 map will evolve over the season like it did the first time. This means all the changes we saw over 6 Seasons in Chapter 1 will happen over the course of four weeks.
