The smartphone launched in August 2019 at the starting price of $999. Those who purchased the phone could redeem a code for the free Galaxy skin on Fortnite. The royale bomber is a skin that was included as part of a PlayStation bundle. For the price 0f $400 players would receive a brand new PlayStation 4 console with this themed blue skin to enjoy. However, the fact that this skin is quite bland compared to others and does not include any other accompanying cosmetics makes the entire purchase quite ridiculous. As a result, Epic later began to include the royale bomber in controller bundles to make it more affordable.
Xbox fans also had their chance to acquire an exclusive cosmetic in the form of the Dark Vertex bundle. This included a sleek purple skin alongside a themed pickaxe and glider. Upon purchasing this bundle, players also received 2000 V-Bucks to spend on Fortnite. Another unique feature about this bundle is that the Xbox Series X/S and its controller were coated in a purple hue to match the skin.
