Fortnite Star ‘Tfue’ Announces the Very First $100,000 Tournament of 2023

Twitch streamer and Fortnite content creator announces the very first $100,000 Fortnite Tournament of the year. On Twitter, the influencer made the official announcement of the team-based invitational tournament that will be held in the first week of this month. Builds will be prohibited in matches of this tournament.
Turner Tenney aka Tfue is one of the most prominent Fortnite streamers in the world. He was a former member of the infamous American gaming organization, FaZe Clan. Currently, Tfue has over 11 million followers on Twitch and averages a great sum of viewers on his streams. In February, Tfue is all set to host the biggest Fortnite event of the year so far.

Fortnite is one of the most competitive Battle Royale games in the current eSports environment. In the past years, it has hosted massive tournaments for the players. The most recent championship had a grand prize of $1 Million, and it was in collaboration with the biggest content creator on YouTube, MrBeast.

This year, the competitive scene of Fortnite begins with a blast as streamer Tfue announces his invite-only tournament with a prize of $100,000. On Twitter, he made the announcement saying, “First $100,000 Fortnite invitational tournament of the year!” With a custom promotional video.

In the announcement, he clarified that the tournament will feature 25 teams who will be selected through invites. Building will be prohibited in the matches. The tournament will be held on February 7, 2023. So far, they have not announced the contestants, however many prominent figures have expressed their interest in participation.
