In recent years, Fortnite has been able to catch the battle royale industry in a flash. This can be attributed to the various crossovers with different franchises that have made the game so popular. Fortnite has now become this massive collection of IPs and has created a metaverse of its own, one where you can see LeBron James and Will Smith in a gunfight with Wonder Woman and Batman.

Fortnite has done a good job incorporating the DC character skins, paving a path for a ‘Justice League Formation’ in the game. This seems like a really cool idea from Epic; however, things might seem a little bleak now. As recent leaks suggest, Cyborg’s entry into the battle royale game might not be happening anytime soon and might have been postponed indefinitely.

Data miner and leaker HYPEX on their Twitter handle further revealed the upcoming or scrapped skins that have made the way along with the Cyborg skin. Skins like King Shark and Weasel might just be on their way into the game, or worse, scrapped.

This is quite unusual of Epic since they have previously never delayed any collaborative skin. Many people doubt this might be a PR move or a move to generate hype. At this point, we do not have any information to come to a conducive conclusion.
