Epic Games will supposedly drop the biggest update the game has ever seen. According to Hypex, a credible insider, Fortnite will host a second Big Bang event and this time the update is over 1.5GB in file size.

Next week, the ‘Big Bang’ live event, codenamed ‘Durian,’ will take place. The leak reveals that an extended downtime of approximately 12 hours will follow the live event. As per the leak, the live event will take place on December 2, 2023, at 4 PM ET.

Epic Games may change the expected timing for the extended downtime after the screen goes black. The event will feature two new NPCs, with one dressed as security. The exact role of these non-playable characters (NPCs) in the event is currently unknown.

Along with devouring the entire map, Epic Games has also planned on bringing Eminem to Fortnite. Hypex shared the official image of the upcoming event with Eminem standing on a stage with speakers flying around him.

Eminem Event and Rhythm Mode

The v27.11 Fortnite update, anticipated for the OG Season finale event, surprised players with leaked assets related to an Eminem concert. The leaked files included two new Eminem Outfits, a Loading Screen, Emotes, and NPCs for the event. Eminem’s Fortnite cosmetics feature two outfits: Slim Shady and Marshall Never More.

Attendees of the ‘Big Bang’ live event on December 2nd will unlock an exclusive Magma Style for the Marshall Never More Outfit. However, the Magma Style will be limited and won’t return at a later date.

Additional leaked cosmetics include a reactive ‘Shady Boom Box’ Back Bling and a ‘Shady Double Saw’ Pickaxe. The leaked files also revealed a built-in ‘Mask Up’ Emote for the Slim Shady Outfit. While the Outfits themselves are encrypted, leakers have discovered locker icons.

Fortnite’s upcoming “Festival” Rhythm Mode potentially features collaborations with artists such as Alice Cooper, Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, and Toto. Players will use instruments in both casual and competitive gameplay, earning rewards for their performance. Possible additions involve in-game concerts, events, and music-themed items, offering players unique forms of self-expression and enhancing the gaming experience.

Lego Collaboration and Racing Mode in Fortnite

The leak further predicts that Rocket League will have a significant role in the upcoming racing mode. Leaked by ShiinaBR on Twitter, the racing mode playlist reportedly uses a Rocket League fan-made image as a placeholder. The racing mode was initially expected to debut in Chapter 5 Season 1, featuring its Battle Pass and four game modes:

  • Death Race
  • Easy Rider
  • Casual
  • Competitive.

The mode could include up to 17 maps, with the release anticipated around December 3 or 4, following the conclusion of Fortnite Season OG on December 2.

Fortnite and LEGO are collaborating for a major release on December 7th, featuring gameplay with players as LEGO characters, mining, and crafting, reminiscent of Minecraft. Unique elements like a LEGO Stud Gun, movement, and emotes are expected, emphasizing freeform creativity. The collaboration draws comparisons to Minecraft, possibly linked to recent Fortnite age restrictions.

A Creative Mode with LEGO bricks aligns with Fortnite’s building tradition, enhancing community creations. The gameplay involves mining and the possibility of encountering enemies, providing a cooperative experience with “sleep voting.”
