Fortnite loves to make the fans feel loved. The much-anticipated Fortnite “OG” is here and the community is ecstatic. Over the last few weeks, devs Epic Games has been teasing fans about the return of the Chapter 1 map. Naturally, this has been SOME news for the long-time fans of the popular looter-shooter. Now, along with the old map, the game is poised to receive more weapon mods that can make their chances of winning rounds significantly higher!

Fortnite has a long list of weapons to choose from. The SCAR, the Pump Shotgun, and Scoped Burst SMG are only a few among the others. According to an industry insider, all of these weapons can be beefed up with the incoming mods.

Incoming mods to give players more options to add more brawn to their weapons

Almost every Fortnite player has their weapon of choice to dominate the UEFN Island. Over the years, more and more weapons have been added to the list. With, the favorite weapon has also changed for Fortnite fans. Almost all weapons come with a large number of cosmetics and skin options that players grind for hours to unlock. These customized weapons can often become synonymous with the players. An industry insider now suggests these signature weapons can become even deadlier with the upcoming mods.

Epic has been working on these mods for over 3 years, and it looks like they aren’t done yet! The mods will arrive with “Accuracy” and “Recoil” attachments, as well as a “Scope” attachment. These attachments will make sure the weapons are more stable and increase the damage by a significant margin. On the other hand, a new inventory menu will also make it easier for players to customize their weapons with a greater degree of flexibility.

A “Common” to “Legendary” system will probably bring some sort of level system to the weapons. Obviously, with higher tiers will come rarer and bulkier attachments that will add unique features to the weapons.

Long-time fans can’t wait to hop into the OG map

The OG map created a lot of buzz within the Fortnite community. A demand to go back to the game’s roots has been around for a long time, and the final confirmation only has fans excited to no extent. To celebrate the return of the Chapter 1 map, the “OG squad” also reunited. TimTheTatman, Ninja, and CouRage coming together would be like a dream to those who started playing Fortnite back when it first launched.

Along with the OG map, it’s also known that hoverboards will once again be available to players in UEFN Island. While some more modern-day features will be absent in Season 5, the OG folks aren’t complaining much!
