The popular Streamer Pokimane has become the hot topic of discussion for the entire streaming community. Recently, she was streaming the popular anime Avatar: The Last Airbender, which landed her in troubled waters. With a viewer base of around 25k during the stream, she got a DMCA ban resulting in a 48 hour suspension.

After news of Pokimane’s suspension broke, people’s focus shifted to another popular streamer, Mizkif. Apparently, just a few hours after Pokimane started her stream. The popular American streamer Mizkif also streamed the same anime show: Avatar: The Last Airbender. But Mizkif didn’t receive any sort of ban, which sounds bizarre.

What really saved the streamer is the fact that he started his stream 3 hours after Pokimane’s stream. Earlier, they had planned to do a watch-party together, but because Pokimane was a few episodes behind Mizkif, they decided against it.

Mizkif’s views on this, and Pokimane is all set for a comeback

In the video, Mizkif watches a video featuring the popular streamer “Disguised Toast” explain why Mizkif didn’t receive a ban. So here’s what he says, “I think the way it would work is once they discover that streamers are doing it, they would submit the takedown. But because there’s a 30-minute gap, I assume the right holder to Avatar didn’t see Mizkif do it.”

And just after this, Mizkif added, “So, me going live late saved my career. So, me being three hours late saved my career yet again.” Maybe what Mizkif’s scenario teaches us is that procrastination isn’t always a bad idea.

On the other hand, Pokimane is all set to make her return to streaming on the 10th of Jan 2022 (Monday).
