Forza Horizon 5 is out on the market and fans are already in love with it. On 9th Nov 2021, devs finally released the game on Xbox One, Xbox series X/S, Xbox Game Pass, and Microsoft Windows. On day one itself, the game recorded a whopping 4.5 million (approximately) players. These figures are the total of players from all the platforms. It’s the largest ever opening for a video game created by Xbox Game Studio.
In fact, these figures are approx three times that of Forza Horizon 4 highest player base.

The devs are already feeling overwhelmed by the love and support of the fans. Phil Spencer, who is the head of Xbox, thanked the fans and congratulated Playground Games, who are the official developers of the game.

This is a moment of joy for the Xbox Game Studio as this was totally unexpected. Also, this game was already generating a lot of buzz, for a very long time, and that helped in making it one of the most awaited games of this year. Forza has always had a dedicated fan following, and it’s wholly unsurprising that the was as big as it was even before Horizon 5 released.

The game was already accessible to fans even before its official release date through the beta version. Even before the release, the game had acquired a playerbase of over 1 million through the beta version.
