Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is all set to receive an influx of new content in the coming months. Nintendo will be introducing a plethora of new items and events in the game with all items having some kind of connection with detectives such as Detective coat hanger, detective bookshelf, detective briefcase, private detective suit, detective agency rug, detective agency fireplace, and this list goes on and on.

As per the trailer, players can build a whole detective world in Pocket Camp. Other than this, the new content update is also bringing a square full of amazing items. From all sorts of pixies and fairies, flower train carts, multi-story cafe items to all sorts of croissants and Triscuits for you to taste, Pocket Camp’s new content update is truly a surprise treat for all the Animal Crossing fans. Other than this, Pocket Camp is also getting a super exciting Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt Marvelous Music Box event soon. That does sound super exciting, isn’t it?

However, unfortunately, nothing is coming on Switch nor Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Well, this sounds pretty much unfair to Switch owners. A super cool trailer, new content, tons and tons of cute items, and as expected, Switch and New Horizon players get none of it. Naturally, ACNH players are quite disappointed with Nintendo at this point.

Since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a smartphone game, it regularly brings new content updates and events for its players. To put it simply, with micro-transaction as a business model, Pocket Camp needs to regularly update the content so that players don’t switch to other smartphone games. Just like other smartphone titles, the main goal is to make sure that players keep playing and spending, of course.

Despite being just a smartphone game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has maintained its hype and popularity for almost 5 years at this point. Additionally, Nintendo has somehow managed to bring new content updates and events for the game over the past 5 years.
