Another day, another disappointing news for Grand Theft Auto 6 fans. A recent leak points towards further delay, as the development of the game is not going well. According to Rockstar Mag’s Chris (reliable GTA insider), and the upcoming new game is not in a good place development-wise, and the game is not going anywhere near planned.

GTA has seen been around a while and not all games have been equally easy to develop. That said, GTA VI might just be the hardest game Rockstar has worked on. It may even be worse than the Red Dead Redemption game (original).
Chris announced this disappointing news in a video where he talks about how poor the planning is. He also talks about how things are not ideal for Rockstar right now and how there are issues that the development team of Grand Theft Auto 6 is facing.

Originally, Take-Two wanted to announce the game officially way back in 2020. But because of the pandemic, multiple restrictions, and lockdown across the world, the plan got pushed forward to next year. But unfortunately, there still has been no word about it officially. There is no telling if the development team of Grand Theft Auto 6 will pick up the pace. Some of the development difficulties are also due to the departure of Dan Houser (Co-founder of Rockstar).
In other news, Chris said that Rockstar Games is currently working on the remastered version of Red Dead Redemption and it can get announced very soon in the future.
Chris has been himself a reliable source a lot of times in the past as well. Despite that, it’s better to bear in mind the information doesn’t come from a source that is official. But fans are allowed to be optimistic.
All the GTA games have been great, and a lot of gamers grew up playing GTA and would love to have another game added to the list of titles Rockstar has produced over the years.
