It is no secret that the Call of Duty community never misses a chance to post leaks about further updates. A prime example of this was the time when dozens of leaks swirled around the internet talking about different things in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Leaks were bound to happen as Activision released its prequel in 2019. So, a truckload of information was already out even before the franchise released the teaser.

Twitter leak confirms a new era for Call of Duty games in 2024

On July 3, 2022, Twitter user Orange man posted a bunch of photos about a new Call of Duty game. He started the thread by attaching a few map photos that confirmed Activision taking the game to a futuristic era. To mention some names of the maps, the photos showcased Oilfield, Museum, and codename saba. Initially, after posting the Grandprix map, fans connected the dots to a recent media event from Activision, where they claimed to add it to Modern Warfare 2.

But after looking at the photos of Stealth and Hydro, they took back their thoughts. Interestingly, the Stealth map showcases some kind of futuristic planes and vehicles that have previously not been added to the game. So, if Activision is planning to release Teryach, it will be a historic return to the series as it first came out in 2010.

Other than this, Orange man also mentioned some game modes that might be added to this next-gen title. He mentioned, “Gamemodes – LUA_MENU_MP/DMZ: DMZ LUA_MENU_MP/DMZ_DESC: COD Experimental Mode for IW9.”

Is there a possibility of new operators?

Apart from sharing crucial information about maps and game modes, orange man also attached images featuring new operators. The names mentioned in the posts are quite unfamiliar, just like their faces. Here’s how they look.

So, whether this is true or not, we surely wish for this title to release as it will mark a new era for the Call of Duty franchise.
