Need for Speed to release in November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only!
In case anyone missed it, the next big installment in the long-running racing saga is being developed by Criterion. It’s the same studio that assisted DICE in making last year’s Battlefield 2042. In fact, due to its assistance on the latter, the studio had to pause the work on the new Need for Speed.

But now that it has all the focus set on the upcoming entry in the beloved series, interested fans will be looking forward to this.

And recently, there’s been a fresh leak based on the Need for Speed that might increase the hype even further. Eurogamer reported that the industry insider Jeff Grubb has revealed that the game is coming this November in 2022. On top of it, it will only be available for the next generation of consoles, namely, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
Without a doubt, this will be sad for all those players who don’t have the newest platforms. Jeff Grubb is a widely known scooper and has been mostly accurate with his claims in the past. Thus, it may be possible to assume that EA is wishing to stick only to limited consoles this time. Still, being a leak as of now, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
