Kirby x Animal Crossing: New Horizons crossover

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nintendo’s Kirby series. Moreover, Nintendo has already released a new trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It will release on 25th March, just a month before the Kirby series’ 30th anniversary. In the tweet, Nintendo specifically mentioned, “stay tuned for news regarding #Kirby30 activities coming soon.”

This made many players think if they could see #Kirby30 activities in the game as well. Nintendo has already released many crossovers in the Animal Crossing series. Furthermore, developers released a Super Mario crossover update in New Horizons to celebrate Super Mario Bros’ 35th anniversary. In addition to that, developers also released Splatoon and Zelda’s crossovers in previous titles.

Thus, there is a possibility we could get a second crossover in New Horizons to celebrate the Kirby series’ 30th anniversary. Moreover, a crossover will help Nintendo promote Kirby and the Forgotten Land. After the release of the 2.0 update, New Horizons has attracted many players to the game and increased its popularity tremendously.
