By now, fans already know that the upcoming entry is going to be Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to 2019’s hit game. At the moment, there’s not much information available on the project.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 already in an alpha stage of development!
Tom Henderson is a popular name when it comes to trusted insiders who give out valuable gaming news consistently. Recently, in one of his videos on YouTube, Tom helped clear several doubts fans have had about the next Call of Duty offering.
He said that despite having 11 developing studios working on it, COD Modern Warfare 2’s development is going smoothly. Adding further, he mentioned that the game, in fact, is in its alpha stage as of now. This implies that the installment will probably arrive later in 2022.

He also discussed the issues that Call of Duty: Vanguard had during its development and even after the launch in 2021. But again, he emphasized the point that Modern Warfare 2 won’t go down that road. He’d had multiple interactions with individual developers who told him that the 2022 game was doing alright in terms of its development.
