There’ve also been various rumors regarding this year’s Call of Duty title. The rumors mainly stated it might help forward the Modern Warfare franchise. But, recently, one fan, fairly popular on Twitter, has shared something that doesn’t go hand in hand with this rumor.
According to this individual, this year’s COD title is expected to conclude the rebooted series. However, one thing to note here is the COD’s official makers Activision Blizzard and Treyarch Corporation have released no details about it.

Unfortunately, the devs haven’t offered a lot of information regarding the game releasing next year. It’s hard to tell how the development is going for the game. But one thing is for certain and that is the game will not be an Xbox exclusive. Phil Spencer has mentioned his willingness to respect the plans Activision has in place for the popular franchise.

Call of Duty games are generally released in the second half of the year, around November. This makes it likely that this title will arrive around that time. It’s also expected that the game will release on various current-gen and past-gen platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X&S, and Xbox One.
