However, after releasing its 11th edition, the devs decided to spice things up for their community by changing the name. And now, we have another rumor that suggests a feature of two iconic comic characters in the upcoming game.

Homelander and Peacemaker might be making their way into Mortal Kombat Reboot

According to Windows Central, Homelander and Peacemaker, both stand as a massive possibility in MK Reboot. This is because both share the exact goriness that one can expect from a Mortal Kombat game. But, to talk a little more about these characters, here’s all you need to know.

First things first, DC launched Peacemaker in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad movie and the HBO Peacemaker spin-off TV series. He was the comical anti-hero that instantly ranked among the favorites as fans finally got a break from the Justice League characters. Plus, WWE superstar and pro wrestler John Cena picked up his role, doing justice to the character.

On the other hand, Homelander was first seen in The Boys, the series that Amazon TV brought to life. Homelander stands as one of the characters from the comics that received tremendous applause on screen. Despite being exactly the opposite of what Superman does, Antony Starr’s portrayal as the character has made fans fall in love with the spiteful villain who cares the least for the world.
