Fresh Signs Tease a New Date For a Highly Anticipated Nintendo Direct In June 2022

The month of June has always been the time for E3, but there is no official E3 in 2022. So, many different video game developers and publishers host showcase events to reveal their new game projects. One of those many events is Nintendo Direct 2022.

There were showcase events like Summer Game Fest, Sony’s State of Play, and Xbox-Bethesda Showcase. However, the giant Japanese video game company Nintendo was silent. There is no big news from the Japanese giants; however, a recent leak revealed a Nintendo showcase is happening soon.

Alanah Pearce recently leaked on her Twitch stream that Nintendo Switch will be held on June 29. She is a former game journalist and currently working at the American game development company Santa Monica Studios.

On that same date, Nintendo will have a shareholding meeting. So, many are doubting the leak, and even she mentioned that Nintendo didn’t directly tell her. However, the Australian former game journalist has spent years in this industry, so it’s hard to turn a blind eye to her lead.

What games can we expect at Nintendo Direct?

There are many games set to release in 2022 for Nintendo Switch. Further, many game products are in complete wraps or some games they have teased. However, the upcoming event might raise curtains over many of those games. On the other hand, games that Nintendo teased might get a proper reveal.

The platform battle royale Fall Guys was a significant hit on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Now it will release on June 21 for Nintendo and the latest generation consoles. So, there is a possibility that the gameplay might get revealed at Nintendo Direct.

Further, the much-awaited Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatton 3 are releasing soon. So, Nintendo Direct might reveal the gameplay for these games too. Also, the upcoming Pokemon Violet and Scarlet might show more new Pokemons and characters at the showcase event.

Nintendo Direct will also unwrap many upcoming projects and reveal their release date. Marvel’s Midnight Sun is releasing on October 7 but will release on Nintendo Switch later. So, this upcoming event might announce the release date for this Marvel game. Also, Nintendo might reveal more gameplay of Bayonetta 3, including the release date.
