Nintendo Switch is the latest Nintendo console, released back in 2017. Although its portability and exclusive collection of games make it a force to be reckoned with, Switch still remains quite outdated in terms of hardware. In fact, most fans face trouble running modern games at more than 30 frames per second.

It’s been five years since Nintendo released Switch’s first model. Following the same, the company continued to release slightly different versions of the console. For instance, Nintendo will be releasing a Splatoon 3-themed Nintendo OLED console at the end of August. As fans can decipher, Nintendo’s plans never seem to be for a major hardware upgrade.
