Friday the 13th developers make the game completely accessible to all players

Recently, the game’s Twitter handle posted that the devs have made some changes to reduce the dependency on database servers. In these changes, each player in this game has been given the 30 legendary perks along with maxed-out levels. All Challenge Skulls and Kills are unlocked along with no loss in matchmaking.

This decision has made the fans aware that the game is currently in its last lap. Wes Keltner, the CEO of Gun Interactive, said, “This was the best way we knew to give you, the players, the best experience and a heartfelt thank you, as we move towards an inevitable goodbye”. His tweet has also induced some heartwarming reactions from the fans.

The game is going to be removed from all game stores due to the license of the intellectual property expiring. However, the game was already on its deathbed. The final update for this horror title was rolled out in November 2020. In the same month, the dedicated servers of this game were brought to a halt.
