2023 is most certainly the year for gamers. From Bethesda’s Starfield to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, many big-budgeted games await their release in 2023. Amongst everything, July was spectacular because of the Xbox Summer Game Sale, which showcased some amazing games on sale. In fact, Xbox extended their game sale for August with a list featuring Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Tomb Raider. Now, it is time for brand-new games to hit the market this month.

From Baldur Gate 3 to Armored Core 6, the list of games coming out in August is definitely long. This list includes some great RPG and FPS games that have sparked excitement among fans since their debut announcements.

Names of video games releasing this August

Many video games have certainly enriched the fans’ experiences this year already. In this list, Final Fantasy XVI can certainly be an important name. Now with August knocking on the door, fans can’t keep calm about the games that will launch this month.

We can begin with Larian Studio’s Baldur’s Gate III, This RPG will release on the 3rd of August in the market. The next name on the list is Atlas Fallen, which will release on the 10th of August this year. Similar to Baldur’s Gate III, Atlas Fallen is another upcoming role-playing video game by Deck13 Interactive.

Next, Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum will be published by Electronic Arts on the 22nd of August. This game is one of the most-awaited games of the year. On this day, another game called Fort Solis will also be released for fans. Breaking the anticipation of fans, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will release on the 25th of August. Fans are waiting for this vehicular combat-based game to launch in the market.

Some more games on the list

Following Atlas Fallen, two other games, Wayfinder and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk will release on the 15th and 18th of August respectively. Developed by The Game Kitchen, Blasphemous II is another video game, which will launch on the 24th of August. This game’s predecessor, Blasphemous, won the title of Best Indie Game of The Year 2022.

Fans also spotted Goodbye Volcano High, a narrative adventure-themed game that will probably be available in the market from the 29th of August. While you think this list might end here, you are wrong. One last game, Sea of Stars, an upcoming RPG by Sabotage Studio, will also release on the same day as Goodbye Volcano High.
