The ‘Collision’ appeared as a playlist just 30 minutes before the event was scheduled to start. Upon initiating Collision, four players spawned into The Seven’s home base. There, until the event started, players could explore the Mecha Strike Commander’s inside and try shooting asteroids sitting in pods.

What was the premise?

Once the countdown ended, Origin took the liberty of briefing the mission for the players! According to him, the Sevens had reportedly intercepted a message that Geno had intended for Dr Slone.

Geno is an important member of the Imagined Order and is said to be the reason behind Zero Point’s loop. Dr Slone is tasked with the mission involving the Collider, which if it went through, would result in the destruction of the world.

After the briefing, Origin introduced the loopers to Paradigm, who’s regarded as the finest mech captain in The Reality. Paradigm took over and from there, and from there, the exhilarating event commenced!

From there, the players along with Paradigm inside the Mecha Strike Commander landed on the island, destroyed several troops of the Imagined Order, battled Dr Jones and her guards, and finally stopped the Collider from destroying the Zero Point. You can watch the entire event in the video below!

Let’s talk about the revelations!

There were a lot of scenes to notice in the exhilarating Collision event. However, Peely The Banana deserves a special mention for sure! During the fight against IO’s army on the island, Mecha Strike Commander suffered a massive breakdown.

To our surprise, Peely came to the rescue with a giant bottle of Slurp. The Mecha Strike Commander regained all his powers to take on the remaining forces, all thanks to Peely!

Following that Slurp, the Mecha Strike Commander had pulled out his powerful pink sword. If the speculations are correct, Mecha’s sword will probably show up as a Pickaxe skin in the upcoming season.

When the Mecha was about to destroy the Collider, he fell through the ground taking Paradigm and the loopers with him. However, they were pulled together by Jones and discovered Dr Slone’s base soon after.

The loopers along with Jones went on to fight Slone’s guards while Paradigm was busy rebuilding her creation. The Foundation joined the team mid-fight and helped with the rest of the fight until the Mecha Strike Commander took Dr Slone down.

As they were doing so, players also saw a glimpse of Darth Vader against Obi-Wan Kenobi inside the Zero Point. Darth Vader is finally going to make it to Fortnite!

As the players were about to destroy the remains of the Collider, Jones and The Foundation jumped into the Zero Point with the intention to find Geno.

The showcase ends after the players successfully destroy the crystals connecting the Collider to the Zero Point.

The verdict?

While the Sevens with the help of the loopers have managed to fail Imagined Order’s plans this time, the story is obviously not going to end soon. The Sevens defeating the Imagined Order would mean the end of the Battle Royale loop, and hence, the end of Fortnite. Fans definitely don’t want that!
