The Game Awards would be held on December 9, 2022, as people all around the world are excited about the probability of their favorite game winning a Game of the Year Award. But many of them are also very excited about the new announcements for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC that could be announced during the Game Awards.

As usual, these awards are preceded by numerous leaks and rumors of new awaited game announcements, but that has never stopped anyone from hoping for their favorites. Let us take a look at some of the most anticipated games rumored of The Game Awards 2022.

Death Stranding 2- PlayStation

Death Stranding was an instant classic. It won the approval of millions of fans. Everyone everywhere was praising everything from its visuals to its performances. The one thing that won even more hearts than those was its social features.

The game broke boundaries in connecting people. It connected players in inventive yet unusual ways. And that’s what fans are expecting from the sequel that Hideo Kojima might be teasing through his Twitter account. Only time will tell how well the hype will live.

Overdose- Xbox, PC

Another Hideo Kojima circling the internet these past months. Overdose is said to be a cloud-based Xbox and PC-exclusive game that is in production at Kojima Productions. He has mentioned on various occasions that his new upcoming game would be something very different altogether.

 

Recently a leaked video of this game showed a person playing it through Microsoft’s popular cloud service. It would be a psychological horror mixing Five Nights at Freddy’s and Until Dawn.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2- PlayStation

A much-awaited sequel to Insomniac’s 2018 spectacle Spider-man. The first game was a critically acclaimed title praised by everyone. Aside from its story and approachable gameplay, according to the critics, the game has rivaled the story of the Marvel movies in many ways.

So, it’s understandable why so many fans are excited about this one.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom- Nintendo Switch

The latest game in Nintendo’s legendary series was announced a while ago. It is set to launch in 2023. But apart from its reveal trailer, there is nothing else that has been revealed by Nintendo as of yet.

And Nintendo always has something to show at the Game Awards. So it only makes sense for fans to expect a trailer or gameplay reveal of it on December 9.

Elden Ring Downloadable Content- PlayStation, Xbox, PC

Elden Ring is one of the contenders for the Game of the Year award this time. Along with the nomination, fans are also frequently getting hints of upcoming story DLC for this game. This has led them to believe that there might be chances of this DLC getting an official reveal at The Game Awards.
