This year, managers are going to be a fundamental asset for winning a game in this soccer simulation. Every popular manager in the soccer world has their own unique tactics and playing style. Be it Pep Guardiola’s tiki-taka, by which FC Barcelona entered their golden period, or be it Jose Mourinho’s Bus Park theory, by which he took an underdog team like FC Porto to European glory – every playing style will be there in EA Sports FC 24. Not only that, but other famous unique playing styles like Joga Bonito by Luiz Felipe Scolari, Gegenpressing by Jurgen Klopp, and many more will be available as well. In practice, you will have the chance to develop these tactics with your team.

For the first time, along with coaches, there will be huge roles for the coaching staff as well. These coaching staff and the manager himself are going to complement each other. And by finding the perfect combination of them, you will be getting glory.

Not only the matches, but coaches will have a huge impact on the players’ careers as well. There will be coaches from different departments, like attacking, defending, midfield, and goalkeeping. So, if you are signing a striker for your team, make sure to sign an attacking coach as well, because he is going to be instrumental in your new striker’s development.

If your team’s playing style is attacking, it would be better if you signed more attacking coaches as well. Coaches will be focused the same off the field as they are on the field. If one of the players is injured, that player will be taken care of separately by the medical staff for a speedy recovery.

How managers will make match preparations?

In EA Sports FC 24, there are three new features for match preparation: training plans, pre-match reports, and match-ready training. These three training methods will make sure players are sharp and 100% fit before every match. By pre-match reports, your manager will keep an eye on the opponent team’s tactics as well.

If you are playing against FC Barcelona, then you will be preparing your team for a possession-based game style, or if you are lining up against Real Madrid, you will want to watch out for pace on the counterattack. If you are playing against a team that likes to park the bus at the box, you might be playing against someone who could swirl through balls and through the defense.

Talking about training, this is going to be one of the most important aspects of getting your players ready. Your amount of training on that specific skill will determine how you implement it in a real game. The more your winger and striker practice crosses and headers, the more chances your team will score from a header or a cross assist.
