The sword’s name translates to “iron-cutting sword”, implying the blade can slice through metal with ease. It’s a pair of identical large curved swords that each form a hook shape. The Zantetsuken can be wielded as either two individual swords or a single double-bladed sword.

  • Save the Queen

The ‘Save the Queen’ is one of the most iconic weapons of the series. It is the only ultimate weapon whose materials can be obtained without leaving Balamb Garden. Furthermore, it is Quistis’s most powerful whip modeled from Malboro Tentacle x2, Sharp Spike x4, and Energy Crystal x4.

Interestingly, it can only be equipped by Beatrix in the franchise. Players can get it in their inventory in the endgame via synthesis; however, no character can equip this weapon.
