From Setting to Clickers, New Details on Universal Studio’s The Last of Us Halloween Haunted House Have Arrived

This year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando branch will definitely be grand. Featuring The Last of Us as their theme, the Universal Studios team intended to bring more realistic elements to this year’s Halloween Nights. Fans initially heard about the announcement last June, which certainly increased their anticipations among them. Amid many rumors and speculations, the team revealed more details including their collaboration with Naughty Dog.

This year’s Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights event will happen from 1st September to October 31st. From dialogues from original voice actors to intense survival-horror-themed adventures, fans are definitely looking forward to taking part in America’s one of the craziest Halloween Nights ever. 

New attractions about The Last of Us-themed Horror Nights

Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights generally happen between September to October. However, what brings people to this event is its exciting themes. This year’s Halloween Nights is inspired by the survival horror game The Last of Us. In fact, the cherry on top is the Universal Studio team’s dedication to collaborating with the original team behind the video game and making the event more realistic. Following this, the team reportedly collaborated with Neil Druckmann, the writer and co-creator of The Last of Us video game.

Lora Sauls, the director of the creative team at Universal Studios reportedly revealed more details about the event. The Orlando and Hollywood divisions of the studio will feature a haunted house, which will also represent the exclusive Pittsburgh setting of the video game. Saul confirmed that it was both Naughty Dog’s and Neil Druckmann’s idea to bring Pittsburgh to its haunted house. This also assured fans that The Last of Us-themed Halloween Nights will really be exclusive with the original team behind the video game putting so much effort into it.

Along with the setup, weapons tables and masks for clickers and bloaters will also be available, which are similar to the ones available in the video game. If you think the list of surprises ends here, then you’re wrong. Universal Studios team also brought Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, the original voice actors. They exclusively recorded new dialogues for the Horror Nights event this year.

Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights are definitely one of the most popular hard-ticket events in America. This year the studio is bringing its 33rd Horror Nights event for the fans. Fans can experience the twisted nightmares and survival horror experiences of The Last of Us in the haunted house.

Additionally, there will be more rides and attractions for visitors to indulge in more fun. The entire house is expected to be designed by the team with extensive details, that are realistic and frightening enough but equally amazing for the visitors. There are more rumors about 48 events in total for the Halloween Nights this year.
