Being one of the most prominent PlayStation games of the past decade, The Last of Us has been one of the most discussed ideas among Fortnite players. The players got to witness an amazing Uncharted collaboration within the game. And the success of this, coupled with The Last of Us being a marquee product of Naughty Dogs, the survival game would likely be a great addition to the battle royale.

The successful run of the HBO adaptation of the game adds more impact to the potential partnership. Skin lines can be made on Joel and Ellie, and Fortnite even can add an apocalyptic-themed event into the game to increase the excitement of the fans. Though Neil Druckman in 2022 stated that the idea seems good, he also mentioned that it might not happen. But, according to the latest rumors, who knows, we could get a grand entry from the popular duo.

2. Kang the Conqueror

Marvel crossovers have been a massive hit among Fortnite players. Remember the Spiderman cosmetic and those insane web gloves? It was so adored that Fortnite even brought the equipment back for a while so the players could use it.

Fortnite Chapter 4: A Gist of What Is Happening in the Metaverse Before Season 2 Kicks Off

Now, there is an outcry for bringing the current biggest villain of the MCU into the metaverse. Kang the Conqueror, who is featured in the latest Antman and the Wasp movie is one of the most powerful beings currently in the MCU.

If that is not enough, the Creed III collaboration which is supposed to grace the stores soon has added more hype to the want for Kang. This is because the antagonist of Creed III and Kang are played by the same actor Jonathan Majors. So we might get to see a partnership with marvel in season 2 to bring Kang into the game.

3. Attack on Titan

This collaboration has been leaked recently. It seems like many are expecting Eren and his gang to arrive in Fortnite soon. The expected skins that will be featured in the game are Eren Yeager’s younger version with ODM gear.

But what could potentially be added to the list is a titan version of Eren. This would not only create waves of excitement but will surely be loved by many players in the game.

4. Mario

Though this is a tough collaboration to pull off, especially as Nintendo has not yet done a partnership with Epic, it would be insane if it happens. Mario is the mascot of Nintendo and his arrival in the Fortnite metaverse will break the internet.

The potentiality of him, along with Luigi and Princess Peach, coming into Fortnite lies in the upcoming release of the Mario Movie. The Super Mario Bros. movie will release pretty soon, and thus there is no other better time to pull off this insane collaboration.

5. Shazam

We got to see his biggest nemesis, Black Adam, getting featured in the battle royale game. Epic is also not hesitant to partner with DC, and we have got to see some insane collaborations in the past. With the Shazam movie coming pretty soon, it would be great to see the young superhero getting featured in the game.

An interesting emote idea that can be used in the game is to make the character say Shazam and then suddenly the muscular superhero changes to his kid version.

6. Guardians of the Galaxy

Another potential partnering that can happen in Season 2 is with the Guardians themselves. With the history, they have with Marvel, and the existence of Star-Lord and other characters in the game, the collab would likely happen. It would be interesting to get a Drax the Destroyer skin, or even a Nebula skin in the game. Even Peter may get a revamped skin if this partnership falls through.
