Soulsborne games are what gamers now call a game developed by the FromSoftware. And these are some of the toughest games to beat. Players have always received the games well and enjoy their difficulty. That said, recent rumors state that the studio is working with Sony on a new exclusive title for the PlayStation.

New Soulsborne title for the PlayStation 5

Being a FromSoftware game, fans expect the alleged title to have the challenging and atmospheric gameplay that FromSoftware is known for. At the same time, focusing on the gameplay instead of having the main focus on the storyline.

Rumors suggest that Hidetaka Miyazaki will be involved in this project. This news has excited fans who are eagerly waiting to see what FromSoftware might be cooking. Following the success of Elden Ring, which sold over 20 million copies in a single year, FromSoftware has embarked on a hiring spree for several new projects at the studio. From recent sources, it is known that Sony owns a 14% stake in FromSoftware. Sony and FromSoftware have already worked together on exclusive titles in the past, such as Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne.

While Demon’s Souls was developed by FromSoftware, Sony had a big role in making the game possible. Sony’s Takeshi Kajii also co-produced the game along with FromSoftware’s Masanori Takeuchi. Bloodborne, on the other didn’t have a Sony member closely working on the project but always had Sony’s back when it came to publishing the game under Sony Computer Entertainment.
