Something similar happened recently, when G2 took a dig FaZe Nickmercs with a cheeky tweet.

Nickmercs fired back with a factual response of his own

Team G2 is an European esport organization that dabbles in competitive titles like Counter Strike, Fortnite, Valorant and so on. The org is also famous for coming up with hilarious tweets and memes. Recently they shared a Fortnite meme that was centered around FaZe Clan’s content creator who brandishes a massive fan following.

The org was merely trying to crack a joke at Nickmercs expense, although it did not sit well with him. He promptly responded to the meme with a factual remark that was more than G2 could handle.

His hyper aggression was on full display, and it is safe to say you cannot poke fun at him and expect to escape unscathed. In hindsight, it is tough to say who is at fault here, although the joke was quite harmless. It is debatable whether Nick’s response on this meme was appropriate or not, as the meme indeed took a dig at his gaming ability. It is understandable for a streamer and player of his caliber to be offended by such a meme.
