“Game Is Nearly Perfect” – PlayStation Fans Over the Moon as Hogwarts Legacy Win Players’ Choice For February 2023

Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game, that is among the most-talked topic right now. Whoever has played it has nothing but compliments for this new game based on the Wizarding World that J.K. Rowling created for her superhit series, Harry Potter.
This Wizarding game is also a favorite to win the ‘Game of the Year’ this year, as it is almost close to surpassing the sales of the current ‘Game of the Year’ Elden Ring. And amidst all this, Hogwarts Legacy recently bagged a title from Sony from spell bounding players on their PlayStation consoles.

PlayStation hosts a poll every month where fans can vote for the games released that month. The game with the most votes takes home the title of “Players’ Choice”. Moreover, PlayStation also follows the same rule that is followed to select ‘Game of the Year’ and that is no remakes would be taken into consideration.

The Japanese giants released the result for the Players’ Choice in February 2023. The winner was none other than the action role-playing title Hogwarts Legacy by Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games. However, this game has also been part of controversies because of connections to J.K. Rowling, even many speculating the reason for Pikamee retiring from being a VTuber.

But despite all the negativity surrounding this game, it managed to attract the majority of the audience. After all, it offers a great RPG experience to players. But above all, it fulfilled the dreams of many Potterheads, who thought about being a Hogwarts student. PlayStation fans would have more fun compared to other platforms like Xbox and PC, as they got an exclusive Haunted Hogsmeade quest.
How did fans react to this achievement?
Fans were glad to see that their beloved game won the Players’ Choice award for February 2023. There were hardly any voices against the results. Instead, almost all comments were in favor of the results. Some even claimed that there was no game other than Hogwarts Legacy to win the title, as the game is “nearly perfect“.

This game was great!! I’ve played it 3 times all the way through with 100% completion, working on the last house now.. Ravenclaw. It’d be cool if they release a DLC for it dealing more with the Ministry of Magic and becoming an Auror..
