It is no longer a secret that Naughty Dog is working on some significant projects surrounding their fan-favorite video game series, The Last of Us. One of the many projects on hand is the TV series adaptation.

The Naughty Dog game became a colossal hit after its release, bagging many Game of the Year awards. Further, the sequel game also was a significant hit. Fans loved the character in the game, especially the main characters, Joel and Ellie.

Because of the massive fandom, ‘The Last of Us‘ now getting a TV series adaptation on HBO, which will retell the game’s entire story. The game’s co-creator, Neil Druckmann, recently revealed about directing a few episodes of the upcoming series.

The HBO TV series will feature Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as the main characters, Joel Miller and Ellie. The game’s creator, Druckmann, has bonded well with his new Joel. They recently had a small fun interaction on social media.

The Game of Thrones actor recently shared a pic on his Instagram wearing a Naughty Dog t-shirt. To which Druckmann commented, “Nice shirt!” So, the American actor replied, “Druckmann, my boss gave it to me.” Let’s hope the HBO adaptations will be as great as the game.

Other ‘The Last of Us’ projects

Aside from the HBO series, there are other projects on which Naughty Dog is working. The American video game company is currently developing a standalone multiplayer and a remake of the action-adventure video game.
