Elden Ring became the most popular game of 2022 by winning the Game Awards 2022 GOTY. These things just don’t happen by chance; this game was supposed to be a winner. FromSoftware put so much work into this game that people are still tasting the fruits of their efforts. Aside from all the environmental details and layers in gameplay that this game got, there were the USPs of this game: its numerous bosses. Thus, it matters how you rank the bosses in Elden Ring.

Bosses have become synonymous with FromSoftware and Soulslike games. People who play these games take great pride in telling others how they have beaten one of these tough bosses. Between all this talk of boss this and boss that, one must wonder who is the hardest boss in this game and which one is the easiest. Hence, here’s a list of the top 10 Elden ring bosses ranked from easiest to hardest.

Godrick, from the very first trailer, was the poster boy for Elden Ring. With a bunch of grafted body parts and that soul-shaking “Kneel!” he made many cower. Underneath, he might be one of those people just looking to prove their worth. But in reality, he is the person who slays his victims and grafts their strongest parts onto himself.

That’s what he does in the second phase of his boss fight—he just grabs that dragon’s head and runs with it, burning everything in his way. All this, and he is still the easiest one on this list.

Margit, the Fell Omen/Morgott, the Omen King: Elden Ring Boss Rank – Easy/Medium

Margit appears in this game as a boss twice; he is the first main boss, and then he fights us in the throne room underneath the Erdtree. He proclaims that the tarnished do not deserve to even look at that throne.

He then calls all his kin traitors, and he comes at the player in full force. All his attacks from the first time gets a boost, and he gains a bunch of new attacks too. This guy has some serious issues, but it appears he might be the only one who actually cares for the order of Erdtree too.

Starscourge Radahn: Elden Ring Boss Rank – Medium

A broken warrior was destroyed from the core by his own half-sister. This guy is still Radahn and he has had some really excellent teachers when it comes to cosmology. He starts the fight by shooting large arrows at the player, then he keeps attacking them with numerous gravity-defying attacks. The guy literally brings down the stars on players.

He is so huge and dangerous that trying to kill him has become a sport in the Lands Between, and his death is so disastrous that it brings down the cosmos itself. Story-wise and difficulty-wise, the guy is just too big.

Radagon of the Golden Order/Elden Beast: Elden Ring Boss Rank – Hard

The captive of Erdtree and the host of Elden Beast, he and his other side, Marika, started this game. One side of the coin shatters the Elden Ring, and the other side tries to repair it. In the process, both got trapped inside the Erdtree.

And let’s not mistake for a second that he was weak due to being trapped for so long; this demigod hits fast and he hits hard. And he is ruthless with his attacks.

What’s worse is that destroying him is not enough either; upon his death, the Elden Beast takes form and acts as another phase of this fight. Imagine using up all your resources in the first fight and fighting the second boss without healing. People sometimes forget how ruthless Fromsoftware can be.

Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble: Elden Ring Bosses Rank – Extremely Hard

These are the simplest yet most irritating bosses in the whole game. They are just regular enemies players see every now and then. They come together in the arena, and they even share a health bar. But the twist is that if players beat one before the other, he comes back to life after a while.

These white googly jumpy freaks never cease to irritate gamers.

Fire Giant: Elden Ring Boss Rank – Extremely Hard

This one is pretty polarizing; some players love him as a boss and others fear him. He is as hard as a player’s base damage output and their ability to learn an enemy’s attack patterns. He is also one of those bosses who decapitate themselves to show their ruthlessness.

And it works too; the second phase of this boss is much harder and even has the potential to one-shot players.

Beast Clergyman/Maliketh, the Black Blade: Elden Ring Bosses Rank – Extremely Hard

This boss is also one of this game’s best-kept secrets. Maliketh, the Black Blade, sits in front of the player, asking for Deathroot. He keeps on begging, keeps on consuming, and keeps on rewarding players for their help.

But once they reach the final stretch of this game, he shows his true face as the ruthless blade that he is. Fast, using magic that has one-shot potential, and hard to dodge AOE attacks.

Maliketh is also one of the most vocal bosses in this game, revealing much about the story while beating players to a pulp.

Mohg, the Omen/Mohg, Lord of Blood: Boss Rank – Extremely Hard

The second of the Omen brothers, this guy is way more sinister than his brother. Morgot only wants the throne; this one literally kidnaps one of his halfbrothers and feeds him his blood for ages. In hopes of making him normal.

He fights pretty ruthlessly too; he uses blood magic, which gets stronger and stronger as his health starts going down.

Godfrey and Hoarah Loux: Boss Rank – Extremely Hard/Nightmare

The only boss in this game who has some humanity in him. As he is indeed a human, and he is even the father of those Omen twins. He was such a fierce warrior once that he even has a spirit of a literal lion on his back.

He fights like a true and tested warrior too; he stomps the ground, crushes players, and uses some magic too. Also, let’s not forget his AOEs; he pretty much has all the arsenal in the book, and maybe that’s why he is pretty dangerous.

When she fights, it is clear how she defeated Radahn. She is fast and fierce, and she uses those slashing blade attacks that are nearly impossible to dodge.
