Genshin Impact is well known for the powerful updates that they bring to its game. Travelers are treated to newer content every now and then. These happen mainly through events, fresh character banners, reruns, and new regions. The Teyvat world is ever-expanding. When the game was released two years ago, there were just two regions. Later, more regions were added.

Adding more regions increased the area players can explore. Sumeru is the latest addition to this list. Now, Genshin will introduce the remaining part of the region through its new patch that will soon be available for the players.

Genshin Impact 3.4 update

Genshin Impact is all set to release its new update. There is a lot in store for the players in this update, and it will surely make travelers pretty happy. So here is a list of things that you can expect in the upcoming update.

• New areas

The new 3.4 updates will bring new areas to Sumeru. According to recent leaks, a desert-like area will be available in the new update. These are shown to have waypoints on land and also beneath. That is, underground exploration will also be available. These add more excitement to a player who likes to explore.

• Alhaitham

The next important update will be the arrival of Alhaitham. He will be a sword-bearing dendro character for whom the community has been waiting for a long time. Yaoyao will also make her entrance during this update.

• Reruns

The thing that Genshin Players love more after Primogems are reruns. This gives them the opportunity to get their hands on their favorite characters, who they might have missed in the initial banners. If rumors are right, Xiao will make a dramatic return in this patch. He is supposed to come as a part of Genshin’s yearly Lantern Rite Event.

The other rerun banner would be Hu Tao, the sinister Pyro character. Hu Tao has not had a rerun after 2.2 and if the rumors are right she will make her return in this patch. This has been the longest gap for any character banner.

Yelan will also make an appearance. One of the most sought-after support characters, Yelan will be featured alongside Hu Tao.

Along with these reruns, these characters’ featured weapons will also make a return. These include Xiao’s Primordial Jade Winged Spear, Hu Tao’s Staff of Homa, and Yelan’s Aqua Simulacra.

The 3.4 patch will be available next year and is expected to be out on January 18, 2023.
