HoYoverse, the developers of  Genshin Impact, is speculated to create a simulation-based game similar to Animal Crossing. From the recent leaks, there is speculation that after developing games like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact, HoYoverse studio is finally delving into creating an Animal Crossing-like project in the future.

Looking at the popularity of Animal Crossing since its debut release in 2016 On GameCube, HoYoverse Studio’s decision to invest in a similar project seems justified. The Animal Crossing franchise received immense positive support from players making it one of Nintendo’s best projects in the gaming industry.

HoYoverse making an Animal Crossing-like simulation game

The news initially came on to the headlines after a Twitch streamer revealed the upcoming project of the Studio. Referred to as HoYoland by the streamer, the video gave a glimpse of the upcoming HoYoverse project, which looked like a life simulation. HoYoverse Studio which has previously been involved with RPG games mostly is going to debut in the genre of life simulation games. Critics believed that after the release, this game might give serious competition to the Animal Crossing franchise. However, the developers have not confirmed anything g officially.

Fans react to the possibility of a simulation title

The speculation reached so many people that fans and gamers took to Twitter to express their curiosities on the matter. One gamer Twiiteed on asking for more details on this project based on a casual simulation that HoYoverse is currently working on. Although, he didn’t seem to present any game leaks but was more interested to know about this project- “If anyone’s heard anything about it, DMs are open! I’m not interested in leaking any details, just would love to learn more.”
