The rumor about a ‘Seelie’ treasure hunt event that had surfaced before the ‘Dragonspine’ update 1.2 has turned out to be true and will arrive in the game on January 8. It will serve as a side quest that will help travelers uncover hidden treasures and earn them rewards. This will be the last event of Genshin Impact before the game welcomes the next promotional banner for ‘Ganyu’. Players are advised not to miss out as rewards offered in this quest are quite useful.
Breaking down the Seelie event of Genshin Impact

You will meet an NPC named Ulman who will grant you a special gadget, a treasure book, and the treasure-seeking Seelie. The new event will have you following the said Seelie that will lead to a secret treasure. Unlike the normal ethereal beings found in the world, this one will lead you to a set of clues that will ultimately guide you to the secret treasure chests.
These treasure chests will be unlike any other, as it will give you Primo Gems and iron coins (event currency). This currency will count towards items that you can use to purchase resources from the event shop.
