The gaming studio, miHoYo, follows a routine of dropping content every six weeks and it has always stayed true to its words.

Once again, the game has reached that time when the gamers must bid the ongoing version goodbye. This will pave the way for patch 1.4 that is rumored to have a re-run banner of Venti. This banner will feature the only new character of the patch and 4-star unit, Rosaria.

Farm these items before Genshin Impact update 1.4 arrives

The leaks from the community point towards at following materials in the image that need to be farmed. Patch 1.4 will not add any new world boss into the mix, so rest assured all the materials are on the map. Refer to the image below to get an idea of all the work you need to do.

Farming the boss materials in Genshin Impact

Starting with the boss materials, you will need to kill Cryo Regisvine to farm up the Cryo Shiva Jade (elemental shards) and exclusive drop of Hoarforst. Although, you can now convert other shards to the desired element with the Dust of Azoth.

Talent level books, Valberries, Crown of Insight, and Fatui insignia

The talent upgrade books can only be farmed through special events and domains. Keep an eye out for the Teachings of Ballad books, as they can only be farmed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from the Forsaken Rift domain. This domain is located in Mondstadt’s Spring Vale region, and it unlocks after you reach Adventure Rank 27.

The Valberries are quite easy to farm on the map. They are located in the northern region of Mondstadt, and if you are having a hard time finding them refer to the map below.

In the case of Crown of Insight, this is an exclusive item that cannot be farmed anywhere on the map. It can only be picked up from special events that are introduced on a routine basis.

Lastly, the Fatui insignia can only be obtained by killing a bunch of Fatui agents like Cincin mages, Skirmishers, and so on that are located in various areas. The best places to look for them are the mountains of Liyue and the Dragonspine region of Mondstadt.
