The 1.5 update for Genshin Impact is only a few days away, and it will introduce two new characters with it, Yanfei and Eula. Yanfei will come to the game on the day update 1.5 drops. She is a four-star character and has a Pyro vision.

Furthermore, it looks like miHoYo designed her more like a main damage dealer and all her attack revolves around her charged attack. Hopefully, she will be as strong as Ningguang and her constellation may help her rival, Klee, at some point.

Yanfei coming to Genshin Impact

miHoYo introduced Yanfei as a part of the few half-illuminated beasts who are yet to sign a contract with Rex Lapis, also known as Zhongli. She has a deep and long connection with Rex Lapis because of which she will come in Zhongli’s re-run banner in the 1.5 update. She is the premier legal advisor in Liyue and some even address her as “the law that walks”.

Yanfei Skills

Yanfei will be a catalyst user and her charged attack will play an important role than her elemental skill and burst. Yanfei’s normal attack will deal three counts of Pyro damage, and it will grant a single Scarlet Seal. The maximum number of Scarlet Seal she can possess at one time is three.

Yanfei’s elemental skill summons blistering flames that will deal Pyro AoE damage. Her elemental burst will also deal Pyro AoE damage to nearby opponents, but at a vast scale. Furthermore, both her elemental skill and burst will grant her the maximum number of Scarlet Seals. Her charged attack will consume all the Scarlet Seals around and it increases her charged attack area of effect and damage while decreasing her stamina consumption.

Artifacts and Weapons

Yanfei belongs to the Pyro element and the best artifact to maximize any Pyro element character’s damage is the Crimson Witch of Flames artifact. The four-piece set of Crimson Witch of Flames is indeed an excellent choice for her. Another great artifact for her could be the four-piece set of Wanderer’s Troop.

Yanfei’s most damage will revolve around her charged attack, and the four-piece set of Wanderer’s Troop increases the charged attack damage by 35% only for bow and catalyst users. Hence, if you are interested in making her the main damage dealer, then using a four-piece set of Wanderer’s Troop will be an excellent choice.

For weapons, any five-star weapon would be great on her, as she will deal more damage owing to their passive and sub-stat. However, when it comes to the four-star weapons, the significant choice would be The Widsith.

The Widsith provides a sub-stat of Crit DMG, which a lot of four-star weapons lack. Furthermore, its passive helps in increasing ATK by 120%, Elemental DMG by 96%, and Elemental Mastery by 480 one at a time for 10 seconds at maximum refinement. Other great options would be Mappa Mare, Solar Pearl, and Blackcliff Agate.
