2022 is about to bid farewell with a dawning sign of 2023. To celebrate the occasion, Genshin Impact put forward a fan art program “HoYoFair 2023 New Year” in which fan creatives of Genhsin Impact from all across the globe were showcased. The recently posted stream showed a surprising appearance of Dave Ardito’s Genshin Impact live-action parody.

Dave Ardito is one of the most popular directors and cinematographers. He is known for his contributions in Vicarious (2019), The Matrix Resurrections (2021), and Ninja Assassin (2009). Moreover, the personality took his creativity to a new level by producing a live-action spinoff of Genshin Impact, showcasing the Traveller’s experience on the lands of Teyvat.

Landed in the vicinity of Teyvat, Albedo welcomes the Traveller who is enacted by Dave Ardito himself. Ardito cosplays all the roles of the characters himself and springs out a cheerful and humorous parody. Moving forward with the video, Albedo welcomes Ardito to the utopian lands but puts forward a difficult challenge right at the start. Got nostalgia for when you played the game the first time?

Pyro character Diluc comes in first to defeat the Hilichurls with his undefeatable skills leaving the Traveller stunned but it was Ardito’s turn now. With a comparatively smaller sword, he went straight, running bare-handed now, into a tree and fell off. Albedo proposed to start with something easy and then launch into the air to perform Solar Isotoma.

Ardito tried the same ability which literally backfired him into getting poked by the fatal blooms. Moving ahead, came in Anemo character Sayu who performs Fufu Windwheel. Ultimately, Ardito performs it magnificently and gains immense confidence. Furthermore, he dodges Zhongli’s Stone Stele and goes on to face the biggest challenge of defeating Dvalin.

With skills learned to combat difficulties, Ardito tries to fight Dvalin but unfortunately fails to do so and drops straight on the ground. Nevertheless, there is always the concept of the next life. He revives and has a memory of what all happened and becomes reluctant to repeat the exercises.

Albedo persuades, or if one must say emotionally blackmails, if he doesn’t want her Anemo sister back. To which he without a sign of sorrow says, “She can fight the dragon, I don’t care.” All in all, this left a humorous interaction of Ardito as the Traveller in the Genshin Impact world.
