Genshin Impact may have missed out on bagging awards a few nights ago, but the game is still going strong. Mihoyo is working on the major update 1.2, while fans have been keeping themselves busy by grinding resources. This one fan actually did it in real, re-creating one of the most iconic swords of the game from scratch.

This Genshin Impact fan spent over a week forging the sword

In a Reddit post, this superfan shared what he could create with the help of skill and modern technology. He spent 2 days trying to capture and understand how to do a complete model of the weapon while studying it in the game alongside. The weapon can be found in the Wolf boss fight, as it is used as a trigger mechanism to initiate the fight.

The printing process was a whole another nightmare in itself, as he had to make use of 8 different 3D printers across 6 days to craft the weapon!

The end-result is overwhelming, the sword is majestic, as he has gotten every fiber of this art piece right. The sword stands at over  5.8 feet tall, dwarfing the creator in size too, who mentioned himself to be around 5.7 feet. Fans have been mulling over to acquire this weapon from the banner, but some things are just not meant to be.

It seems like Legacycrafting crafted his own for a reason, not wanting to only rely on the Gaccha system of the game to obtain the precious claymore. He certainly deserves all the praise, and taking on this mammoth project seems like a task suited for a modern-day neo-blacksmith.
