MrBeast has come up with the most exciting collaborations in the first half of 2023. The creator has marked his way to five category nominations in the Streamy Awards for this year. While MrBeast makes a firm case for winning all the nominated categories, “Best Collaboration” might just be the easiest pick. Today, we revisit this particular collaboration that landed the YouTuber an easy nomination. 

The WWE fame Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson had the most fascinating cameo in a MrBeast YouTube short. During the promotions of Black Adam, the fighter-turned-actor crossed paths with the YouTube King in the craziest fun interaction. Being the most innocently subtle conversation, both the stars took on a battle with a twist. 

When MrBeast Defeated The Rock After An Intense Competition

The ‘YouTube King‘ met DC’s Black Adam in a promotional event on 22nd October 2022. The latter challenged the actor to a quick competition of rock, paper, and scissors. The ever-confident streamer was left stunned after witnessing the actor’s skills in the game. The adrenaline rush was at its peak because there was a lot at stake. Before starting with the intense battle, both individuals promised to donate a hundred thousand dollars to any charity if defeated.

The winner couldn’t be decided after two rounds to which MrBeast said, “This is gonna take forever.” Spoiler Alert! It didn’t. On the third attempt, we finally had a winner. And it was the challenger himself.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was seen bursting into laughter after the defeat. The man kept his promise as he said, “I’ll do it. I got it. ”  When it comes to charity, MrBeast loves to provide his contributions to society. Thus, even after winning the contest, the latter also promised to go ahead with the donation. Both entertainers decided to donate to the ‘Make-A-Wish Foundation.’

Now, with the collaboration being nominated for the Best Collaboration Steamy Award, fans speculate an easy win. Although the other nominees include other giant collaborations of social media in the past years. From Protein Burrito with The Big Man Chef Rush to Quantum Computers, explained with MKBHD, the competition is tough. Well, revisiting the MrBeast collaboration is certainly proof the creator doesn’t prefer an easy win.
