Now, more announcements make the community smile as Valve is selling “certified refurbished” Steam Decks with massive discounts.

Refurbished Steam decks on sale now

The Nintendo Switch dominates the handheld gaming PC market. It has sold over 125 million units since 2017 and remains the most famous name among fans. With a plethora of exclusive titles along with third-party games, the Switch is understandably the handheld PC to look for. However, Valve’s Steam deck shook up the market in 2022 after its debut. The handheld console is a powerful machine that is capable of running even the most demanding AAA titles smoothly.

Despite its capabilities, the price tag put off many fans who were looking for a cheaper option to game on the go. The cheapest 64 GB version came with a price of $399 while the 512 GB version has a $649 price tag. For obvious reasons, not everyone is willing to spend so much dough just for a handheld console when the Switch is available for as low as $283. Now, these fans may be in luck as Valve has revealed that refurbished Steam Decks will be sold by authentic sellers.

Refurbished units can boost sales

In a post Valve has announced that it is now selling “certified refurbished” portable handheld gaming PC units. These refurbished Steam Decks can save you uo to $130. To ensure quality, a certified testing process is being implemented by Valve. The 64 GB refurbished model will be priced at $319, while a refurbished 512 GB model will cost you $519.
