Elden Ring has to be among the most celebrated releases of the year 2022. Developed by FromSoftware, the action-adventure title went on to bag the Best Game of the Year Award. Today, most of the gaming development giants rely on a massive number of employees in creating a title. Considering the peak years of gaming markets, developers do not want to make any compromises on the scale of a game. While the formula has been a go-to one for most of the industry labels, we have an exception. FromSoftware surprisingly created the magic of Elden Ring with just a team of 300 developers.

From Upcoming Elden Ring DLC to Armored Core 6, FromSoftware Will Depend on the Same Modest Team Size

In a recent interview with PCgamer, the director of Armored Core 6 was asked for insight into the team size of FromSoftware. The latter, explaining the breakdown of the company, surprised all the Elden Ring fans. According to the director, FromSoftware has around 400 employees in the company.

Out of those 400, just 300 brains are involved in the development process of games. The resources and team size is shocking as the makers are currently working on two individual projects. One is a small side project of Armored 6 and the other is the major DLC update for Elden Rings.
