Despite Missing a Shot in The Game Awards, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Beats 2022’s Game of the Year to Become the Best-Selling Title

No matter how much he denies it, clearly, Doc rooted for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Because when the game lost to Nintendo’s hit multiplayer sensation Splatoon 3, Doc posted this tweet from his official Twitter account.

But realizing his bias, Doc agreed on giving Splatoon 3 a chance. He added in the reply, “Playing this game next week. Give it some respect…” The Two-Time teased that in his next stream in the upcoming week, he will be playing the Nintendo game to try to give it some respect and see if it is actually worthy of the awards.

Fans give their explanation to the situation by citing different examples and reasons

The fans went all out on making Doc understand how great the Splatoon series is. Some fans compared Call of Duty and Splatoon to McDonald’s and Classy Italian restaurants. According to them, one has brand recognition, and it tastes good, but compared to the other, the difference in quality is heaven and earth.
