Sony eventually brought its games to GOG apart from Steam. For those unaware, GOG is a platform that makes installing games on PCs even easier than on Steam. They do this by allowing the developers to release their games on it without any anti-tamper software on them. After the recent launch of Days Gone it looks like GOG is about to get several new PlayStation titles on it!

Gamers everywhere used to envy what PlayStation owners had, but that was only until Sony decided to release their exclusives for PC. It started with the launch of Horizon Zero Dawn on Steam and then eventually extended to games like Returnal, Uncharted, and even The Last of Us. And this blanket of games is slowly also covering GOG.

Ever since Horizon Zero Dawn broke the barriers of exclusivity and made its way to Steam, Sony hasn’t stopped. Over the years, games like Days Gone, God of War, Spider-Man, Returnal, and even The Last of Us Part 1 have made their way to Steam. After their launch on Steam, these games were released on GOG. Currently, Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone are available on GOG. And fans are left anticipating what might come next.

GOG is a platform that gives players access to their purchased games without the hassle of dealing with performance issues that come with anti-temper software. This is why many gamers highly prefer purchasing games from GOG, just for the sake of keeping things clean. Some fans are suggesting that after launching Days Gone to the platform recently, Sony would follow up with God of War, Uncharted, and Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition.

It’s good news for fans of the GOG launcher. Here’s hoping Sony does not stop releasing their games on PC. It is a great way for them to expand the reach of their software to new gamers. Now it’s just a matter of time before fans find out if this prediction of upcoming games on GOG turns out to be true or not.

Some big games are making their way to Steam too!

Recently, Sony announced that a PC port of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is underway. This edition would include the base game as well as the massive Burning Shores DLC that was released for PlayStation 5 earlier this year. Currently, the same bundle is available on PS5 for a price of $59.99. There’s no confirmation of its price on Steam as of yet.

The other game that has been rumored to come to PC for a very long time is Ghost of Tsushima. This Japanese open-world stealth action game was originally launched for PlayStation 4 in 2020 and for PS5 in 2021. Even though there’s no confirmation of its launch on PC as of yet, Sony’s pattern of launching their games on PC gives it away that this game will be on PC sooner or later.
